• Kanthal A1 — The go-to wire for beginners and experienced builders alike. Kanthal is a durable iron-chromium-aluminum alloy that holds its shape well, is easy to work with, and works exclusively in wattage mode. A reliable everyday coil building wire.
• Ni80 (Nichrome 80) — A nickel-chromium alloy that heats up faster than Kanthal and is slightly softer and easier to coil. Ni80 is a favorite among builders who want a quicker ramp-up time and a clean, neutral flavor profile. Wattage mode only.
• SS316L (Stainless Steel) — A versatile wire that can be used in both wattage mode and temperature control (TC) mode. SS316L offers excellent corrosion resistance, a clean flavor, and works well for both simple and complex coil builds.
