Will vaping help me lose weight or affect my intermittent fasting?

Will vaping help me lose weight or affect my intermittent fasting?

Here we will answer the question : Will vaping help me lose weight or affect my intermittent fasting?

Will vaping help me lose weight or affect my intermittent fasting?

Some consumers have asked if vaping will help them in their weight loss journey.

The short answer is no.

Vaping does not act as an appetite suppressant. The reason many people gain weight after quitting
smoking is because they are supplementing their smoking habits with other things like eating items such
as sunflower seeds and other high fat snacks.
Weight loss in a nutshell: When you have a caloric deficit along with healthier eating choices and a
regular amount of activity, you can generally lose some weight. Other health and environmental factors
could play into your weight-loss. It is always best to seek out a medical professional if you are having
issues in your journey.

Vaping can be used as an alternative to picking up your favourite bag of chips or candy and munching.
Many of our e-liquid comes in the form of your favourite snack be-it raspberry donuts, cereal, or that
chewy sweet and sour candy. Vaping your favourite snack in e-liquid form can alleviate the need to
snack throughout the day.

E-liquid does not contain any calories and you aren’t actually consuming the liquid, so if you do choose
to use vaping as an alternative to snacking, it will not affect your caloric intake.
When it comes to IF (intermittent fasting), generally you are fasting for a set period of time with no caloric intake.

You are allowed to drink water and sugar free drinks such as black herbal tea. You have an
eating window and you consume your calories during that time. E-liquid contains vegetable glycerin
which is a colorless, odorless, sweet-tasting, non-toxic additive. The most common misconception is that
when you are intaking this sweet juice that it will break your fast.

This is not true – VG is not consumed by the same means that sugar containing foods are. Instead of ingesting the VG, you are inhaling it. This does not break your fast.

The long and short of it is that – no, vaping and weight loss do not correlate. While it can be used as an
alternative to snacking, it will not help you lose weight. Vaping will also not break your fast.

Here's a vape flavour that will feel like a high fat snack but won't hit your daily caloric intake!
